First MyValve case in Kenya – Valve replacement without surgery

A MEDICAL MILESTONE
Mediheal Hospital has once again put Kenya on the map as it has performed a rare heart surgery known as TAVI. This is the FIRST of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The intervention was done without open-heart surgery but under anesthesia with conscious sedation.
Bloodless surgeries are safe and help to recover faster without infection and have fewer morbidity chances.
