Dr. Prabu is a Consultant Laparoscopic and General Surgeon at Mediheal Hospital Eastleigh, a unit of Mediheal Group of Hospitals. He acquired his MBBS from Rajah Muthiah Medical College and Hospital (RMMC & H) – Chidambaram and Gold medalist in Master of surgery from Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Pondicherry University. Subsequently, he did his FMAAS - Fellowship in Minimal Access Abdominal Surgery - under Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University – Chennai in Madras Medical College (MMC) - Chennai.

• Assistant Surgeon – Government Headquarters Hospital – Thiruvannamalai (March 2012 to April 2013)
• Senior Resident – Indira Gandhi Governmental General Hospital and Post Graduate Institute Puducherry (May 2011 to March 2012)
